Additionally, with a background in competitive sports and a strong passion for using sports as a tool for nation-building that is aligned with the United Nations Development Program's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), I've immersed myself in the global business of sports.
Over the past two decades, Sid's dynamic career journey has covered various roles at notable consulting companies such as Axis Bank Ltd., Persistent Systems Ltd., Tech Mahindra Ltd., GlobalLogic Inc., and Mindtree Ltd, having had the privilege of working closely with industry leaders and sports icons, contributing to my continuous learning journey. Beyond a decade in IT Consulting, Sid feels humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to work with sports organizations like JeySynthesys, BrandActif, Fanisko, Genius Sports, Khel Now, Rhiti Sports and Built.io, to name a few.
After leading commercial interest of across various sporting properties such as IPL, ISL, PKL, UKK, PBL, UTT, FIFA U17 WC, in India, currently heading revenue and strategy for e-cricket gaming and esports at JetSynthesys (www.jetsynthesys.com) to plan and execute world’s 1st and biggest franchise based esports cricket league, GEPL (Global e-Cricket Premier League – www.gepl.live).
In addition to handling commercial interest of leagues, Sid has worked closely and exclusively to manage brand MS DHONI for a long time. Sid has worked on implementing world’s 1st Smart Connected Arena Solution @ NBA with Sacramento Kings for enhanced FAN ENGAGEMENT. He has also had an opportunity to collaborate with municipal corporations and government officials to promote sports development and sustainability along with being able to serve as the Curator, Mentor, and Faculty of the MBA Sports Management program at Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences.
It has been his honor to hold esteemed positions of Sports Tech Mentor & India Ambassador for Qatar SportsTech (QST) and Global Sports Innovation Centre (GSIC) along with being a committee member at SPORTSCOM, a CII initiative.
Sid's passion for sports is evident in my talk show, SportsySays – #LetsTalkSports (www.youtube.com/sportsysays), where I host prominent athletes, coaches, administrators, and business leaders to discuss various aspects of sports.
Towards development of sports, founded Rising Pune FC, most sought after youth football club in Pune and West Maharashtra where over 500 kids train daily.
Sid is also an avid movie buff, country and Jazz music enthusiast and adventure sports enthusiast, particularly fond of Scuba Diving.
Sid's educational background includes a Bachelor of Computer Science degree, an MBA-IT from Pune University, a PGD-HR from SIBM (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management), a Diploma in Strategic Planning and Business Policies from IIT Bombay, and ongoing higher education pursuits in Sport Leaguelization™️ to uplift the Indian Sports Ecosystem.
